See all site's rankings (Organic + Blended results) in the updated Keywords and Rankings module

Now you'll never miss your site's ranking, be it a regular organic result, or a Universal block — with these important updates in the Keywords and rankings module, tracking site's progress gets much easier!

1. Find all site's rankings for the keyword

WebMeUp checks you site's positions in both regular and Universal (Images, Places, Videos, etc.) search results. If your site ranks in ANY type of result — you'll see the best rank in the main table:

If there are several results for the same keyword, the rank will be highlighted — just click on it to view more rankings for your site's pages.

For regular web search listings the Rank field will show just ranks. For Universal Search results, the field will contain a rank and a sub-rank accompanied by the type of result icon (Videos, Images, Places, Shopping, etc.).

Ranks indicate the position of the specific results block on Google's page. Sub-ranks show the position within a specialized block of results:

The Universal results don't always come on top, they can be anywhere in the search results. For example, let's search for "heavy lifting equipment." The search returns 2 regular results on top, followed by 3 images (Universal results):

This Images block gets the same rank as the regular result that follows (3 in this case), and each picture result has its own subrank: 3(1), 3(2), 3(3).

2. Track keywords that trigger Universal Search results

The U (for "Universal") icon now indicates if there are ANY Universal Search results for the selected keyword (no matter if your site ranks there or not):

The main number shows the position of Universal Search results block, while the figure in the brackets shows the amount of items included in this block of results.

1. Search for more ranking opportunities using this data.

For instance, if you see that many of your target keywords trigger Universal results, but your site doesn't appear in them, promote landing pages to get there — add and optimize images, videos, create a YouTube channel, use special mark-up, and see what your competitors do to get higher positions in all types of results.

2. Check if Universal search results "steal" you traffic

Your site can rank high for a keyword, but for some reason traffic is poor. See if there any Universal results that grab user's attention — a viral video or some bright photos can get most of the traffic. If that's the case, try getting into the Universal results too.
